Digital Transformation Office upgraded

The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is to be upgraded to an Agency to take the Government’s digital agenda to a new level.

According to the Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, Angus Taylor, the agenda was being expanded so that more Australians could access improved Government services online.

Mr Taylor said the new Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) would implement wide scale change in digital capability across Government Departments, benefiting the public and other users of Government services.
