FAIR stands in solidarity with France

FAIR and the Australia Library and Information Association (ALIA)  shows solidarity with France following the attacks in Paris.
FAIR and ALIA offered this gesture of support following the series of coordinated terrorist attacks that were launched in the French capital shortly after 9pm on Friday (local time) which claimed at least 129 lives and injured more than 350.
FAIR campaigns for a fair, open, democratic society where information belongs to everyone. Also, one of ALIA's tenets is to promote intellectual freedom by promoting the free flow of information and ideas in the interest of all Australians and a thriving culture, economy and democracy.
Our thoughts are with our library colleagues in France at this difficult time.
